VERONA.| City of Romeo and Juliet.

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.”

I'm back from a 6-day-trip during the Easter holidays and got several impressions from Italy and France. Let's start with Verona (Italy) where we stayed the first night.

Verona - seen as a romantic city because of the association of the most famous lovers in history. Romeo and Juliet. I have to admit, Verona IS an incredibly beautiful city - especially the colorful houses and historical buildings impressed me. Plus, all of the little hidden streets in the historic district. We arrived in the evening (in the outskirts of Verona) and went into the city as soon as possible for some exploring. We walked along the shopping street, saw Casa di Giulietta and ate some pizza in a restaurant on the beautiful Piazza delle Erbe.

Whether at night or during the day - Verona is a beautiful city that I definitely would like to visit again. Enjoy the city through my lense. :)

WOMAN CAVE. | Girls just wanna have fun.

" The only thing more beautiful than the woman that knows what she wants, is the woman who isn't waiting on anybody else to get it for her."

A lot of men have their stylish, cozy ‘man caves’, but why can’t women have their own personal room to get away and relax in?

A "man cave"  = a male retreat or sanctuary in a home, such as a specially equipped garage, spare bedroom or basement. The term "man cave" is a metaphor describing a room inside the house where "guys can do as they please" like a caveman without fear of upsetting any female sensibility about house decor or design.

So, of couse women can create their own "cave" free from males and kids, where they can go to get some peace, relax and pursue their interests. In cooperation with Carish, an exclusive curator- approved online marketplace for vintage furniture, I created a styleboard surrounding my ideal woman cave.

1. Furniture
For relaxing, the most important thing: a comfortable sofa and chairs. I chose a grey retro-style sofa from mömax with wooden details. I really like the shape and the details on it. The size is perfect as well. Secondly, I found a beautiful vintage chair on ( with a unique and colorful pattern on it. I think it's cool to have a statement piece in your room that has a bit of a different style than the other ones. The website makes it really fun and easy for design lovers to buy and sell vintage furniture and decor. One can definitely find something unique.

I couldn't leave out a desk in my woman cave, cause work never stops. No matter if you are studying, writing, creating, randomly browsing - it is more fun and productive when you feel comfortable with your work space. There are endless possibilities for decorating and DIY's out there!!

2. Decoration
When it comes to decoration, there are no limits. Vases, pictures, candles, plants, rugs, pillows. In my room I'd like to have some color accents, like yellow and turquoise. I found the yellow rug with atztec pattern on H&M Home (they have such a cool interior range!!!). Due to my pillow addiction, I chose only two this time, but let's be honest - I'd probably buy more of them ;) Also very important: a cozy blanket on the sofa.

The two paintings are also from, and I have to say it wasn't easy to choose only two. The selection of paintings, drawings, posters, prints and sculptures is endless. On my desk, I'd like to have a candle or a home scent, my JBL speaker (because music is essential!!), a lamp and some storage options.

The possibilities and ideas when creating a "cave" for yourself should be endless and you should definitely take your time and choose wisely so you are 100% comfortable with everything! :)

4 days KITZBÜHEL.| Skiing.

"One of the best feelings is laughing with someone and realizing half way through how much you enjoy them and their existence."

Finally, I'm back with a new post. This time about my recent vacation in Kitzbühel. I will link an older blog post about a trip to Kitzbühel when I spent a weekend there in summer while "Kitzbüheler Kirtag". (

A good friend of mine has got an apartment in Kitzbühel and kindly invited me again. I haven't been skiing for five or six years, so I was a bit worried on getting back on the slopes at first. On our first day we went on the "Kitzbüheler Horn". You will instantly see how much luck we've had with the weather on the pictures. The sun was shining all day long. I am not the biggest ski fan on earth but the fact that the weather was perfect and the slopes weren't as scary as I thought it was so much fun.

One evening we went night sledding - something I've never done before. First of all, the view was absolutely beautiful at night. Even though we had tiny issues with controling our sledge properly together, it was so funny. :) After our first run we kind of managed not falling off our sledge every turn. ;)
