3 days in France.| Cannes - Île- Sainte Marguerite - Valbonne.

“All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware.”

– Martin Buber

On our last full day in France we went to Cannes. A little bit of shopping and in the afternoon : a boat trip to Île- Sainte- Marguerite. After a fifteen-minute boat ride we arrived and a big part of the island is wooded with umbrella pines and eucalyptus. It's so nice out there because you can find a lot of small bays with barely any people. I loved it.

Our last morning we spent in Valbonne - a commune near Nice. We sat down in a little café in the aquare and discovered an older woman who was playing different instruments by the window. A quite rare and funny scene for us , but everyone around her loved it. :)

VERONA.| City of Romeo and Juliet.

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.”

I'm back from a 6-day-trip during the Easter holidays and got several impressions from Italy and France. Let's start with Verona (Italy) where we stayed the first night.

Verona - seen as a romantic city because of the association of the most famous lovers in history. Romeo and Juliet. I have to admit, Verona IS an incredibly beautiful city - especially the colorful houses and historical buildings impressed me. Plus, all of the little hidden streets in the historic district. We arrived in the evening (in the outskirts of Verona) and went into the city as soon as possible for some exploring. We walked along the shopping street, saw Casa di Giulietta and ate some pizza in a restaurant on the beautiful Piazza delle Erbe.

Whether at night or during the day - Verona is a beautiful city that I definitely would like to visit again. Enjoy the city through my lense. :)
