Am Donnerstag (26.5) hab ich zum ersten Mal das vegane Sommerfestival "Veganmania" besucht. Es findet zurzeit in Wien vor dem MuseumsQuartier statt. Ich habe schon öfter davon gehört und wollte mir nun ein eigenes Bild machen. Das Wetter war traumhaft schön und einen DJ gab es auch, also das "Festivalfeeling" war auf jeden Fall gegeben.
Verschiedenste Firmen und Vereine stellen Produkte vor und informieren über Ernährung, Gesundheit, Umweltschutz und Tierrechte. Marken, die ich dort wiedererkannt habe waren unter anderem: deli dip, veganz, Joya, Provamel und Veganista Eis. Es gibt reichlich zu Essen - von Fastfood (Burger, Pommes, Hot Dog..), indische Gerichte bis hin zu Smoothies und gesunder Rohkost. Zum Naschen findet man dort natürlich auch genug :).
Der Eintritt ist frei und das Fest richtet sich natürlich an alle - die sich schon vegan ernähren oder ganz vegan leben, Vegetarier oder Leute, die mehr über die vegane Lebensweise erfahren wollen oder einfach nur vegane Gerichte ausprobieren möchten. Mir hat es sehr gefallen und meine Kamera hatte ich natürlich auch mit dabei! :)
On Thursday (26.5) I visited the vegan summerfestival "Veganmania" for the first time. It takes place in Vienna (Museumsquartier) right now. I've heard of it before and wanted to see it myself. The weather was perfect and a DJ was playing music, so the festival feeling was there.
Several companies and associations presented their products and informed about nutrition, health, environment and animal rights. Brands I recognised were: deli dip, veganz, Joya, Provamel and Veganiste Ice Cream. There is plenty of food - from fast food (burger, fries, hot dog..), indian food to smoothies and raw food. Of course you'll also find delicious sweets there. :)
The entry is free and the festival is for everyone - who already eats vegan or lives fully vegan, vegetarian and those who want to know more about the vegan lifestyle or those who just want to taste vegan food. I loved it there and of course I took my camera with me.
