JOE & VALERY in Bratislava | Restaurant review.

As I mentioned in my last blogpost - there is a top restaurant recommandation for you. On the way from the train station to the historic district we discovered the Joe & Valery patisserie. We read the menu and instantly decided to have lunch there.

Next to the breakfast options (omlette, bagel, croissant (which are pretty oversized ;)) they also have delicious first and main courses. Hummus with veggies, soups, salads, burgers and curry. They offer a wide range of delicious sweets and coffe as well.

TOP.

First course: Hummus with veggie sticks. It wasn't just pretty - it also was very delicious and you could instantly taste, that the hummus was fresh and selfmade. TOP.

Hauptspeise: SALAT mit frischem Gemüse und TOFU. & JOE's BURGER mit Spiegelei, Speck, Käse und Rindpatty.

Main Course: Salad with fresh vegetables and TOFU. My boyfriend had "Joe's Burger" with fried egg, bacon, cheese and beef patty.

Not only the food was amazing - the interior design impressed me as well. Totally my style. Everything modern and simple furnished with cool pictures and decorated with beautiful details.

Last weekend was an absolute summer weather. I took advantage of it in Kärten, Wörthersee. First in Klagenfurt, and then in beautiful Velden. On our first day we did a bike tour. Start: Klagenfurt. The plan was riding along the southern shore of the lake. Between Reifnitz and Maria Wörth we found a hidden place where we could go swimming. So much better than the public swimming pools. You just have to search a little bit ;)

Perfektes Wochenende. :)

We rode a lot longer than we thought. In Velden we made a short break and then we rode over Pörtschach back to Klagenfurt. 40km total!!! I never thought that we would make it on that day, but it was great. It's always the best to discover a place/city by bike. The next day we found even a more beautiful place by the lake (near Dellach). In Velden we also rented a boat for 2 hours. Perfect weekend. :)

lunch @ Restaurant Rosé; I had bulgur with salad and vegetables:) it was vegan & delicious!!

Spontaner Trip nach SALZBURG. | travel diary.

,, Overplanning kills magic. "

Wart Ihr schon mal in Salzburg? :)

In my opinion, spontaneous trips are the best. But it doesn't have to be just trips, let alone moments -  unplanned often is so much more exciting. The 2-day trip with two of my best friends has definitely been exciting and cool. We kind of decided it the night before (to accompany one friend who wanted to pay a visit in Salzburg) but there have been some little obstacles so it wasn't 100% settled. In the morning, we just decided to do it. Because we didn't want to leave too late we kind of had to hurry and pack everything we need fast. The drive was just perfect and so much fun - we listened to music, sang and had a little break at the beautiful Mondsee.

We arrived in the afternoon and walked along the Salzach to the lovely centre of Salzburg. The shopping street/alley (Getreidegasse) is incredibly beautiful. You'll see some picutres down below. Even MC Donalds or Spar caught our eyes. You'll see some pictures of the trip down below.

Have you been to Salzburg before? What did you like the most?  :)

VERONA.| City of Romeo and Juliet.

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.”

I'm back from a 6-day-trip during the Easter holidays and got several impressions from Italy and France. Let's start with Verona (Italy) where we stayed the first night.

Verona - seen as a romantic city because of the association of the most famous lovers in history. Romeo and Juliet. I have to admit, Verona IS an incredibly beautiful city - especially the colorful houses and historical buildings impressed me. Plus, all of the little hidden streets in the historic district. We arrived in the evening (in the outskirts of Verona) and went into the city as soon as possible for some exploring. We walked along the shopping street, saw Casa di Giulietta and ate some pizza in a restaurant on the beautiful Piazza delle Erbe.

Whether at night or during the day - Verona is a beautiful city that I definitely would like to visit again. Enjoy the city through my lense. :)
